  • Love Doune Castle and I would recommend a visit. Good for a family walk and doggy friendly. I have visited over a number of years and have now been able to visit more often as I now live about 7 miles away.
  • Despite the castle being temporarily closed at the moment you are still able to walk around the grounds. Therefore you can take photographs etc but you can't go inside the castle. Loved it.
