Create an itinerary including Highland Titles Nature Reserve
Take one of the numerous scenic hikes at Highland Titles Nature Reserve, a reserve combination of woods, moors, and mountains with two man-made lakes. The ancient semi-natural woodlands feature silver birches, willows, oaks, alders, and rowan. A rest area provides benches, picnic tables, and viewpoints towards the lake. Herons and ducks will keep you company, and you may also spot red deer, roe deer, foxes, badgers, European pine martens, and red squirrels. Rent a 4WD to tour the entire area. • Another beautiful part of Scotland! We enjoyed a glorious walk following the "mountain trail". The trails are exceptionally well maintained and there's paths for people in wheelchairs or with prams which is great! Plenty of benches along Al the routes too. There's lots of great information on the way round where children can learn about the animals. They're rehabilitating the notoriously rare Scottish Wildcat here as well as hedgehogs. You can also even purchase your own wee plot of land and officially become a Lord/Lady. There's a very small little gift shop in the reception area and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. There is also a toilet available and plenty of parking. Highly recommend :)
  • We got to visit my husband's plot of land and were given a tour by Stewart, who is super knowledgeable of the land! The views are gorgeous. Buying land and becoming a "lord" or "lady" or "laird" is a really cool idea to help preserve the land!
