The fountain is very neat and pretty. Gulls bath in and drink this water. We saw yellow legged gulls which are very rare especially in scotland and was a treat.

This fountain is ornate, with lots of detail. Situated at the far end of Princes Gardens it is easily overlooked.

such a wonderful place for a photo op. sad thing is, u cant get near it for a more closer look (enclosed in gates). overall stunning with the Edinburgh castle perched on top of the hill. we had a toddler with us and we had to carry our pram when we went down the flight of stairs to the garden😅😅 our toddler was asleep!

Worth a photo with the Edinburgh castle behind it. Definitely worth also a coffee and some relaxing time on a good sunny day. The whole area is awesome.
