  • Amazing museum, deserves more than 5 stars. We went not knowing what to expect because of word of mouth and it was better than we could have asked for. Between the museum and the tall ship we spent the whole afternoon with our three kids under 6 all entertained. The 19th Century street was an amazing exhibit and one of the best I've seen in some time. In addition the interactive displays with stories and games for the children were really good and well designed. There were a few options for places to eat there but we only stopped for a quick snack so cannot say more than that they are there. Overall I am very impressed and would absolutely recommend you take the time to visit if you are nearby.
  • Brilliant transport museum. Makes you feel like you are in the past. Loads of old transport , like cars , bikes , train, trams etc. Also there are old style shops . There is a cafe inside. You can also go outside to the tall ship. It's is free you can buy food or take your own places to sit . Great trip for families or just for adults.
