A single, unassuming lane leads you to one of Scotland’s most popular viewpoints. Regular visitors insist that Neist Point, the westerly most point on the Isle of Skye, is never the same place from day to day, hour to hour. Don’t forget a camera with long-range capabilities. Whales, porpoises, dolphins, and sharks also frequently visit. Bring a jacket, a hat, and walking shoes. Be sure to take it slowly. Several steep inclines require a little extra time and attention. • What a great spot. Weather was pretty ordinary during our visit, but that made it seem even more special. Absolutely beautiful and relatively tourist free (for Skye). Should be a must on everyone's...

  • Worth the climb, I promise. Don’t miss out on the rocky cliffs just beyond the lighthouse, which are riddled with tide pools and excellent views. The stretch of rocky beach on the eastern side of the peninsula, down past the jetty, had some of the most colorful and creature-full pools I’ve ever seen. I spent almost two hours clambering about down there.
  • Will recommend this walk 100% , not really demanding as its an average length walk down to Lighthouse , a bit harder on the way back but its worth it. Make sure You pick nice weather as this remote part of Skye could be really windy and rainy. One of top attractions out there and definitely wort a hassle.
