John clearly knows a great deal about the history of the area. His insight and enthusiasm, with the addition of old photos and maps, make these walks a memorable day out for locals and tourists alike. Would highly recommend.

John is a funny and knowledgeable tour guide with an impressive range of knowledge on the Strathspey region. I had a full day tour of three different distilleries, Glenlivet, Cardhu and Glenfarclas. This is a bespoke tour, this means that you get to see the things you want to see so going to different places is perfectly possible. If you’re interested in having such an experience contact the gentleman to talk possibilities. I thoroughly enjoyed my tour and cannot recommend him highly enough.
