Lovely tranquil lake. One of the smaller lakes, some nice walking trails round it and lovey autumn colours. Easily accessible by the 599 bus from Windermere station

Nice looking lake surrounded by lush green fells and fields. The scenery isn't spectacular but there's a rolling English countryside look about this lake.

Very pretty lake surrounded by attractive, wooded hills. Pleasant walks around the shoreline. Loughrigg Fell just to the south is a steep but not overly challenging climb, with excellent aerial views of Grasmere.
