  • Well done you if you are doing this as part of the Fairfield Horseshoe, it's worth it and not too painful to get back to Heron Pike. A worthwhile little addition and eight becomes nine Wainwrights. On the way back up, get to 2000 feet, 600 metres then skirt round until you come to the main path
