Interesting and sobering place and the guides were helpful and friendly. Just be aware when visiting with children that some of the information is upsetting, particularly on the audio guide.

Really really enjoyed this museum, one of the best I’ve been to. The audio guides were great, and included with the ticket, and I loved how there were interactive parts, like trying out thumbscrews and hammocks. The lad on the front door accidentally did our ticket wrong, but refunded us and did it correctly, but this didn’t spoil our trip, very happy with the whole experience and would highly recommend to anyone visiting!!

A very interesting and enjoyable visit (suggest this and the Castle). The courtroom was clever and great fun sitting amongst the models. The two attendants were very chatty and great hosts, also keen to lock you in the outside cell!! Great time, thanks.
