Relax in the natural beauty of the The Fairy Pools, Glen Brittle, Isle of Skye, so called because of their enchanting appearance. Walk around the area and admire the collection of clear-blue streams, waterfalls, and rock pools set amid the grandeur of the Cuillins. Brace yourself for a rather chilly swim or a paddle. If the weather permits a longer stay, bring along a picnic, but be sure to take your garbage away with you. • A lot of Skye seems to be suffering from 'Instagram vs reality' syndrome and the Fairy Pools was the worst of them all for this. Jam packed at all hours and full of motorists unable to navigate...

  • Loved it. Fairly sized pay and display car park which accepts card. Toilet facilities. Very long walk from the car park to the pools (2.5Km one way). But it’s nice trekking along the sides of multiple pools and falls. Nice to have a bath in Summer. It’s really magical water!
  • Most beautiful place on earth!! Breathtaking!!! Please hike safely proper boots, poles, rain gear .... This is not a Saturday shopping mall walk it is a hike and scan the QR code on the bridge as you walk past.... Just in case you need help .... Appreciate the people working the parking lot and praise for the clean loos. Isle of Skye is absolutely stunning!!!
