We really enjoyed our walk around this reserve and spent some time in the hide but sadly saw very little by way of birds of any kind (one duck and a chaffinch to be precise) I guess this is a matter..... more

A lovey little stop just off the B970 and Spayside Way. Beautiful views in every direction and a great nature habitat with really good facilities. The car park is a fair size for the facility and in good repair though, apart from the single disabled bay, bays are unmarked. That said, when we visited everyone had parked considerately. There is a an accessible viewing platform/hide 30m from the carpark along a well maintained path. The other trails are more “rustic” in nature.

Thank you RSPB for creating to us place and maintain it so we can visit to watch the birds and the changing light over the marshes and mountains. It is a privilege to be able to go here.
