Garnering praise as one of the best beaches in the world, Oldshoremore Beach merits a visit from lovers of the sand and sea. Take a stroll along the shore and admire the sands, formed of eroded sandstone and seashells to create a pristine white shoreline that stretches for nearly 1.6 km (1 mi). To one side, rocky outcrops tower overhead, while on the other the clear blue sea extends out to the horizon. If you have some extra time, look for the colorful wildflowers just past the sand. Brilliant beach, plenty of car parking and toilets. The beach is fantastic to walk and play on, lots of small areas between rocks to shelter from the wind at times as well as plenty of open sand to run and play on. The water is clear and due to it being a flat bay area the kids could walk out into the water a fair distance yet still feel and be safe. Top place to visit, whether for a beautiful long stroll by yourself or with the family.

Absolutely stunning! One of the most beautiful beaches in the world but beware, it might look like the caribean but even in summer the water was ice cold!!
