Penrith - The Eden Millennium Monument, Penrith

If you're like me, and let's be honest, nobody is, at least, if they are, they wouldn't admit to it, then maybe you drive along, with the family in the back, and switch off from the squabbling, until you spot a brown sign, directing you to somewhere unheard of... Then maybe, like me, you ease off the throttle, and think " This might shut them up?.." I'm sure that my English teacher would hold his head in his hands about that paragraph, but I maintain that it makes sense! An artificial obelisk, between Arthur's Round Table, and Maybergh Henge, on the other hand, probably doesn't... Which is why I recommend visiting, because it is quintessentially English, and makes no sense, in a logical World, whichever Millennia you're living in... Or aspire to. Be sure to visit the Beehive afterwards
