Great day out! We all enjoyed it loads! Cool re-enactments, very very well thought out and entertaining stalls and a marketplace. Food choices were good with some sensible options and the beer and cider were decent without anything being massively overpriced. Well worth it - a lot of history here and an excellent way to learn. Wonderful area to explore and great for families. Area steeped in history with some great walks and wildlife reserve heading towards Rivers Severn and Avon. Annual medieval fair is usually mid July- brilliant with the battle 're enactment staged in full costume. Plenty of medieval stalls tents and crafts is a sight to be seen. Best free event we've been to. Gets better every year!!
