Old town Scottsdale is not technically Phoenix but belongs to the City of Scottsdale. I like to pretend this is the real Phoenix as Downtown Phoenix was a disappointment, but Scottsdale certainly delivered. From art works and statues, to instagram worthy sites and friendly shops to browse through. Much cooler than downtown Phoenix and much more cultured. Plenty to see and do for at least 1/2 to a full day. Enjoy!

One of the finest places to spend some leisurely time. In the hot summers they have cool down stations, dining is often indoor and outdoor under covered air cooled patios. A pleasure for walking the updated old town. Shops, galleries, eateries, bars, pawnshops, mature trees and more. Please be advised: the town doesn't really get going till after 4pm, unless brunch is your thing and there are several good places for that.
