  • We spent 3 days on Cat Ba Island & loved it there. We hiked up to the lookout area at Cat Ba National Park.The forest (jungle) is gorgeous. The climb is fairly strenuous, so I wouldn’t recommend it....  more

  • I visited in June, 2019. The national park is massive, there are good hikes and some ok beaches on the other side.
  • If you like trekking just go ahead CatBa island. You can hire a mortorbike and go alongside the beach would be more enjoyable! Remember to bring water and some breads cuz you’ll need them during your trekking. It’s not very tough to get to the peak, the paths are not very sloping. It’s around1 hour and 30 minutes for the whole journey! Btw, there are some lovely traditional cabins you can rent!
