Discover remarkable panoramic views from The Marble Mountains. The cluster of hills serves as a place of pilgrimage that shelters stone-carved temples as well as limestone and marble caves and tunnels. Look for 17th-century Buddhist sanctuaries or climb the steep stone steps leading up to superb vistas. Wear comfortable shoes, bring lots water, and carry a flashlight for your visit of the caves. I walked up choosing the exercise over the lift. The cost of the lift is minimal. The steps to the top can be a bit dodgy so not for the unfit. The caves have shrines in them, well worth a visit. No..... more

It's quite nice. Definitely go early morning as it gets hot and humid after 10am. Note that the 'entrance' is the actual lift 15k. The other 40k is some guide booklet with postcards, which you don't actually need since there are plenty of signs and maps boards once you get up. So unless you want the postcards, just ask for the lift ticket. The temples and caves are nice and overall it's a nice hike. Look out for local stores who will offer to park your bike for 'free' in exchange for buying something small. Only that they don't have anything 'small' you'll be looking to spend from 150k and up. Thus you have 2 options: a) accept the parking and see it as a way to support the local economy which has been hardly hit during the pandemic, or b) keep driving until you reach the designated visitors parking.

Toured around here on the solo. Fantastic views from the top. From the caves, pagodas to heaven's gate, great adventure through the mountains
